Just trying to stay focused, confident and hopeful feels tough most days. Organizations like Born2BFree matter more now than they did before. For more than a decade, Born2BFree has been empowering Dallas-Fort Worth teens and young adults with free mentorship, leadership growth, creative outlets, community outreach and faith-based support that actually meets people where they are. But Born2BFree isn’t only a program. It’s a family It’s a steady support system. It’s a place where young people slowly figure out who they are and who God made them to be. Founded by Priscilla Brooks, Born2BFree was built around a clear mission: helping young people build confidence, develop leadership ability, strengthen their faith and walk toward their purpose with boldness. Through mentoring sessions, career development opportunities, life-skill practice and community service initiatives ,participants pick up real tools, you know, to move forward in life personally and professionally. One of the organization's most exciting spaces is The Born2bfree HotSpot, a high-energy performing arts platform where singers, dancers, poets, musicians, comedians, speakers and other creatives can share their talents in a positive, uplifting atmosphere. The HotSpot gives young artists room to shine, grow in confidence and encourage others through what they can do. Born2BFree also invests in future leaders through programs like: G.I.R.L.S.: empowering young women to build confidence, character, leadership and purpose. Great Young Men (G.Y.M.) Experience: helping young men develop integrity, discipline, leadership and vision for what’s next. L.A.D.I.E.S: Helping women to chase their dreams, get past the tough stuff and grow through real connection and steady support… somehow it all ties together. Also, Born2BFree hosts Freedom Fest, a lively event that blends inspirational speakers, live performances, leadership coaching, networking moments and faith-driven encouragement, all aimed at strengthening the next generation for success. At the center of what Born2BFree does is a clear, strong message, simple enough, yet it hits deep: Young people matter. Young people have purpose. Young people can make a difference. 
As communities keep looking for answers to youth violence, depression, hopelessness and disconnection, Born2BFree keeps showing that faith, mentorship, creativity and positive support really can shift lives.
